Five-Week Silversmithing Course in Charlestown, Cornwall
Learn to make your own silver jewellery in a small, supportive class — with time to properly understand what you’re doing.
If you’ve ever wanted to learn jewellery making properly, this is the place to start.
This isn’t a quick taster where you rush through a piece and leave. Over 5 weeks, you’ll build real silversmithing skills step by step, with the time and guidance to gain confidence at the bench.
you will learn
During the course, you’ll be introduced to core silversmithing techniques including:
- Sawing and shaping metal
- Soldering
- Filing and finishing
- Forming and texturing
- Polishing your work
You’ll leave not just with finished pieces, but with the skills to continue making.
WHAT YOU’LL MAKE
You’ll have the opportunity to create your own jewellery, such as:
Rings
Pendants
Earrings
Each student works on their own designs, so your pieces will be completely individual.
